If all the SAFFAS think it wasn't a try then then I'm more than happy to take it off the final score. Wadyathink Reformed???

I love the picture McRoamer.

The Ref in the green jersey on the right is pointing to the ground and yelling. "It's a try!"

Admittedly that was a tight one (very tight)... However I think it was ok... as Richie had the ball on the line split seconds before the Bok hand arrived... or that is the impression I got at least. But, yeah... tests have turned on less than that. Fair try imo.

Of course BiB... of course...  :D

Like I posted above... Fair try. Most of the guys I have spoken to have been quite resigned about the try... most said that they felt it was ok. What the media was hammering on was if it was a Saffa ball then the try most likely would not have been allowed the way our luck is going, nothing to do with Richie.

It was a try no doubt, however Boks must be pissed off as they were the better team imho. There commitement to the breakdown was superb :claphands:

I have to agree with your sentiments, except the try Paddy. It was a different Boks team in spirit, effort, and performance compared to the last few games.

Hmmm... tricky question. The Boks was vastly improved... no doubt about that and there was stages in the match that they were the better team... but overall the AB's were just a bit better and probably deserved the win. Still..., a tough call.

I would have thought the Boks going down to the Ozzmobs twice in 3 meetings would be considered 'pudding' enough for the Ozzmob fans

I didn't say otherwise... I was referring to Ozzmobs.... If your name was Katatonic Ozzmob then you could have been excused for making a error... as it turns out... Katatonic Kiwi is a bit of a giveaway.

You in turn won the bloody 3N and the Bled... what more could you possibly want...  :thk: Oh, yeah... The William Webb Ellis trophy... the one that always gets away...  :D

In rattles and jerks... the 'financial meltdown' and resulting global depression made things a lot more tricky than they needed to be. Building industry has taken a severe wollop (worldwide) thus making my options a lot less... a more 'sane' approach will be a move to Ozzmobania and the NZ from there... most guys I have spoken to have done it that way. Much easier to get into Aussie if you are skilled.

So they say...

 :rolleyes1:

Here's hoping...

I know people who buy return tickets come over for a holiday and then find a job and then get their working visas that way or something.  I know someone I worked with said her cousin tried to save money by not buying a return ticket and had a hard time in customs as they thought they were not going to leave.  Obviously you would need to talk to someone who knows way more about it than me who just has one office conversation under her belt

Tell me something I don't know...  :yell: friggin expensive is the Ozzmobland...

Although it's not nearly as easy as it sounds to get in... I keep an eye on the job markets over in NZ & Aus... Aussie has way more work available than NZ... ? Why is that?... and the lion's share of work (in my field of course) in NZ is centred around Auckland and to a lesser degree Wellington... much less in the Dunedin area... virtually nothing way south... suppose they will need some skilled personnel in Christchurch now...

I would prefer one of the smaller places if possible...

... All told between the 2 sites there are about 15 positions (incl contrcats managers, Q.S., etc... )only about 16 of those jobs are in my line and I'll qualify for about 7 or 8 of them... Problem is that I need 5 years experience in NZ... (seems to be the basic requirement) and be in possesion of a residency or NZ work permit...
In Ozzmobania there were about 440 positions available last week... ? If all the Kiwis go to Aus to work there... why is there so little job opportunities available in NZ?
